I'm Liam — a software engineering student in Universiti Malaya who somehow always ends up coding till midnight.
This is a small personal website. I post here whenever I learn something worth sharing — usually through engineering projects, hackathons, or making mistakes first.
I'm a Software Engineering undergraduate at Universiti Malaya and co-founder of Gunners, a team with 7 hackathon wins, including Champion of Cursor Hackathon 2025 (Best Fintech App, with Ryt Bank) and 1st Runner-Up at China Mobile AI Hackathon.

Junctn wasn't a blank-slate build — it had to fit into an advisory org that already ran on habit and spreadsheets. Notes on the four features that only made sense once we saw where the real workflow broke.

Losing hurts less when you realise growth isn't measured by trophies alone. Some thoughts on almost-winning, pressure, and why I still keep showing up to hackathons anyway. Or maybe it's because of my team name: The Gunners!
